Ceann Dubh Dílis / Sweet Dark Head, High Voices

Duration | 2.00

NOTE: This is not an arrangement of a traditional Irish song. It is a traditional Irish text set to music by Michael McGlynn. All programme notes or attributions must reflect this fact as they would any other composer’s work.

A love poem from the 18th century – this very energetic original musical setting is a definite crowd-pleaser. Percussion can be flexibly applied to this work. This work comes with an MP3 Pronunciation guide.

The piece comes in Low and High Voice versions and all orders come with a pronunciation guide and a score formatted in US Letter and A4.

Two imaginative versions of the work sung for High voices on video!
