This beautiful Great War poem was written by Francis Ledwidge, but the setting is romantic and pastoral. Very lyrical and effectively written for Mixed Voice choir, with a short solo segment that can be sung by a semi-chorus in the centre of the song. Commissioned by the Cork Choral Festival Seminar on Contemporary Choral Music.
