The Tenebrae Collection is comprised of four Latin song-texts set by Michael McGlynn. These texts belong to the famed Tenebrae Responsories, a series of dark, passionate lyrics revolving around the theme of the Passion of Christ. Although each of the four movements is available separately, they work well together as a single set. These are of moderate difficulty to perform, and put some demands on individual singers, as there are short solos contained within them.
